“40 % of Delhi Region still remains deprived of Sewer facilities ”

MLA from Janakpuri and former Finance
Minister , Government of Delhi severely criticized the CM Sheila Dixit
who is in the habit of shifting the blame over to the Central government for poor performance of
the police and DDA .
“
Sewer and water supply are directly under the control of Delhi government but
even where sewer lines exist , they are in poor shape , Drain water flows on
the streets or in the storm water drains
freely mixing with supply of drinking water . This situation has been
causing severe water borne diseases in
the capital city . The CM has already accepted that she is unable to supply pure drinking water to a large part of
Delhi’s population , something for which she feels ashamed . “
Professor Jagdish Mukhi was out
on a door to door canvassing in Chandranagar under ward 117 of his constituency . He was blessed by the
holy priests at Hareram Hanuman Mandir and
the local Gurudwara . Others
accompanying him in the pre-election trail included Mandal Pradhan Balraj
Solanki , Smt. Jagdamba Chauha , Jitendra Dua , office bearers of the Residents
Welfare Association , R.k.Arora, Kamal Dhimgra , Harbans Bhareja and over a hundred workers from the Mahila
Morcha of the BJP .
“How can the CM shift the blame
for rapes in the city and the growth of
slums to the Center considering that there too it is her own party that is
in power .”
Prof. Mukhi reminded the people that four water treatment
plants have recently been
privatized and the whole process is
under CBI scrutiny for a number of alleged irregularities .
“ Millions of Rupees have been
spent on advertising the achievements of Delhi Government . The people of Delhi
can see through these deceptions intended to cover up the anti-people policies
of the Congress government in Delhi . They will give a suitable reply through their verdict on December 4 , 2013 .
